It started back in high school—where I never quite fit in. I didn’t feel smart enough, good enough, or worthy enough to picture myself going to college like everyone else. So I did what many do when the world feels like it has no space for you: I joined the military.
The military gave me what I thought I lacked—structure, discipline, and a sense of belonging. I pushed myself hard. I learned how to show up. But when an injury forced me to face the reality that my career in service was coming to an end, I was devastated. Everything I had built my identity around suddenly felt like it was being stripped away.
I hit a rock bottom I didn’t see coming. I felt like I had no purpose, no direction—like the meaning had been drained from my life. That period forced me to face my own mental health in a way I never had before. The depression, the anxiety, the sense of being lost—it was real, and it was humbling. But it also woke something up in me. I began to understand just how deeply this work matters. I didn’t just read about transformation—I lived it. And I carry that with me in every session.
My Story: From Outcast to Mission-Driven Healer
Through my own healing journey, I began to understand something deeper: that the way we think, the way we move, and the way we connect with others are all profoundly linked. As I served in leadership roles in the fitness industry, I began guiding others in their physical transformation—but I saw how much more was happening under the surface. The body kept the score, but it was the mind that held the key.
That’s what led me to clinical psychotherapy—and to the work I now consider my life’s mission, not just a career. I don’t sit across from clients as someone who has it all figured out. I sit beside them—as someone who’s had to walk through their own fire to get here.
I’m a strong believer that our relationships with others are direct reflections of our relationships with ourselves. So much of the pain we feel—whether in marriage, family, or within—traces back to the beliefs we carry and the stories we’ve inherited. My work is about helping you return to yourself through yourself. We’ll untangle patterns, rebuild from the inside out, and reconnect the mind, body, and spirit along the way.
This isn’t about quick fixes or perfect outcomes. It’s about showing up fully for your life. And I’m here to walk with you while you do.
